Dr. Glass is a senior research scientist with Chestnut Health Systems and an affiliate associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Health Systems and Population Health at the University of Washington. He studies how to reach more patients with substance use disorders using effective treatments.
Trained as a clinical social worker, much of his work focuses on psychosocial and systems issues. His recent research, funded by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism and the National Institute on Drug Abuse, applies implementation science methods to study the integration of addiction treatment into health care systems.
