Chay Davis, PhD

Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute

Chay Davis is currently a Project Manager at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute (KPWHRI) working with Joe Glass on the C-DIAS Project 3 (DIGITS-Equity Study). Chay received her PhD in Psychology specializing in quantitative behavioral genetics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and completed a post doctoral fellow in the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. She has contributed to scientific endeavors in and out of academia, including five years working as a medical science liaison for a pharmacogenetic start-up, and over 10 years at the University of Washington (UW) in a variety of research roles. She also served as a managing director and research lead at the School-based Mental Health, Assessment, Research, and Training (SMART) Center in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where she worked on numerous large studies pertaining to the implementation of evidence-based mental health interventions in the school context.
