Andrew Quanbeck, PhD

Dr. Quanbeck is an associate professor in the University of Wisconsin's Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. His research draws upon concepts from systems engineering to develop innovative approaches to implementing evidence-based practices, with a specific focus on implementation of evidence-based practices and technologies for the prevention and treatment of substance use disorders in primary care settings. He is currently a principal investigator on three NIH-funded R01 implementation-effectiveness trials. Dr. Quanbeck has authored 40 peer-reviewed publications, 16 as lead author. He is a standing member of NIH's Science of Implementation in Health and Healthcare study section and a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Implementation Research and Practice.
